dc.description	The dissertation is the first generalized study of the formation and development of book publishing in Ukraine during the period of liberation. It was established that the publishing sphere at the initial stage of the revolution was in an active state of recovery, becoming one of the decisive vectors of the development of society, having initiated a qualitatively new level of cultural and educational tasks consistent with ensuring access of the public to scientific knowledge. Complex use of generals theory cognition reality, that leans against base principle: scientific character, objectivity, concrete analysis, with of scientific and special methods it wasallowed the system to reconstruct the difficult process of forming of publishing business in Ukraine 1917-1920. The main content of the study is the coverage of the state policy of the Ukrainian governments, which created the conditions for the rise of book, state institutions, introducing legislative acts in the publishing industry, providing funds for organizing the work of publishing houses. The analysis of the issue and distribution of book editions during the years of the Ukrainian Revolution was carried out. The paper summarizes the quantitative indicators of the printing as Ukrainian-language literature, as well as the languages of the national minorities. The characteristic signs of book publishing in each of the nine provinces of Ukraine are investigated; the work of ministries of the Great Russian, Polish and Jewish affairs is highlighted; the activities of publishing houses that worked on the territory of Ukraine and made a significant contribution to the development of book publishing. The achievements and problem aspects in the book industry are defined. The bibliographic index of books for the years 1917-1920 was created, which has 11476 book titles.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	У дисертації розроблено теоретичні та методичні засади дослідження розвитку книговидавничої справи років Української революції. Досліджено особливості розбудови книговидання в 1917-1920 рр. Встановлено, що видавнича сфера на початковому етапі революції перебувала в стані піднесення, ставши одним із визначальних векторів розвитку суспільства. Охарактеризовано основні напрями державотворчої політики українських урядів в галузі книговидання, висвітлено роботу книговидання на території України і розкрито діяльність видавничих осередків. Здійснено аналіз випуску (замовним і тематичним аспектом) та розповсюдженню книжкових видань, наведено узагальнюючі кількісні показники друку. Окреслено пріоритети діяльності міністерств великоруських, польських та єврейських справ. Підготовлено бібліографічний покажчик книжкових видань за 1917-1920 рр., який налічує 11476 назв книг.	uk_UA
