dc.description	The dissertation is devoted to the study of modern precentorial activity of the Orthodox tradition. The aim of the work is to create a systemic concept of precentorial activity in the context of Orthodox choral culture at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries.Orthodox church-choral culture has an exceptional significance in the development of the musical culture of the world for many centuries. Despite the difficult times of the Soviet totalitarian rule, and even the physical destruction of the bearers of the spiritual musical culture, at the end of the twentieth century it has quickly returned its leading position in the former USSR, which had a significant impact on the diaspora cells.The main driving force and central figure of church-choral culture is a precentor. It is his work in all its aspects that has maximal influence on the development not only of the liturgical tradition, but also of the choral culture in general. Exactly theprecentors we know as the most famous choir-masters, choir composers and teachers (D. Bortniansky, M. Berezovsky, A. Vedel, O. Arkhangelsky, P. Chesnokov, M. Danylin, O. Kastalsky, V.Orlov, S.Smolensky, etc.), exactly the precentors themselves has worked (and is working) in the most famous secular educational institutions, educating new generations of choir conductors.In the scientific discourse, church-choral culture is mostly considered from the historical point of view (source study and media studies, decoding and reconstruction of manuscripts, etc.), composing (biographical research, analysis of creative heritage, composite techniques, etc.), performing (creative biographies of collectives, analysis of performing style, techniques of choir-conducting). Some individual reconnaissance of precentorial activity from theological positions are known, but its comprehensive system analysis at the scientific level is carried out for the first time. The research done has an important value for the scientific-descriptive and analytical fixing of the current cultural situation in the field of church-singing tradition, as well as provides a conceptual and theoretical basis for further prognostic, methodical and methodological exploration of precentorial activity inits culturological aspects and from the positions of art regional study.The study of the chosen problem has led to the recognition of the need for reintegration into the context of culturological knowledge of such a scientific field as precentorial study, since its subject can not be comprehended either exclusively by means of art studies, or by means of theological sciences, because it belongs simultaneously to various spheres –musical, theological, historical-cultural and philosophical. Therefore, the proposed dissertation is an interdisciplinary research that combines analytical approaches in various fields of knowledge: cultural studies, art studies, musicology, religious studies, Orthodox dogmatics and liturgics, choir-study, interpretology, as well as certain aspects of sociology, psychology of creativity, musical acoustics, etc. The main method that combines these research tools is the system analysis in close interaction with the culturological approach at all stages of the study.In accordance with the object, subject, goals and objectives of the study, the logic and structure of work has been constructed. The dissertation consists of the introduction, the main part (six chapters), the conclusions, the list of used sources and applications.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Дисертацію присвячено вивченню сучасної регентської діяльності православної традиції. Метою роботи є створення системної концепції регентської діяльності в контексті православної хорової культури межі ХХ-ХХІ ст. Дослідження означеної проблематики сприяло усвідомленню необхідності реінтеграції в контекст гуманітарного знання такого наукового напряму як регентознавство, який поєднує філософські, історико-культурні, богословські та музичні аспекти. Запропонована дисертація є міждисциплінарним дослідженням, в якому використані аналітичні підходи різних галузей знань: культурології, мистецтвознавства, музикознавства, релігієзнавства, православної догматики та літургіки, хорознавства, інтерпретології, а також певні аспекти соціології, психології творчості, музичної акустики та ін. Головним методом, який об’єднує ці засоби дослідження, є системний аналіз у взаємодії з культурологічним підходом.	uk_UA
