dc.description	The dissertation is the first comprehensive study that reveals methodological approaches to the identification, protection and use of landscape sites of cultural heritage as exemplified by historical landscape of Kyiv hills and Dnipro valley. Landscape heritage sites are considered as an expression of modern integrated approach to the territorial preserving of the historic environment. Landscape as a fundamental principle of historical territories development is not only of historical, cultural and aesthetic value, but represents the historical memory through numerous associative aspects. The dissertation analyzes the state of scientific research of historical landscape of Kyiv hills and Dnipro valley, reveals the main features, characteristics and common factors of formation and development of historical landscape of Kyiv hills and Dnipro valley, the role of urban complexes and ensembles in the formation of planning, space and spatial pattern of the city and its figurative characteristics, defines the basic principles of protection and use of the landscape monument «Historical landscape of Kyiv hills and Dnipro valley», analyzes the national and international experience in research, protection and use of landscape sites. The dissertation analyzes the state of scientific research of historical landscape of Kyiv hills and Dnipro valley, reveals the main features, characteristics and common factors of formation and development of historical landscape of Kyiv hills and Dnipro valley, the role of urban complexes and ensembles in the formation of planning, space and spatial pattern of the city and its figurative characteristics, defines the basic principles of protection and use of the landscape monument «Historical landscape of Kyiv hills and Dnipro valley», analyzes the national and international experience in research, protection and use of landscape sites. The basic principles of protection and use of landscape monument «Historical landscape of Kyiv hills and Dnipro valley» are developed in the thesis. They are as follows. It was found that Ukrainian experience in research, protection and use of landscape monuments is very limited, so it must be complemented by the study of expertise in the protection of cultural landscapes of foreign countries that apply different legal and methodological tools. Analyzed international regulations give very full and multifaceted definition of cultural landscapes. An urgent task is the implementation of international experience in the Ukrainian heritage protection legislation and the establishment of appropriate methodological basis for consistent work with such relatively new to national practice type of cultural heritage. The most important methodological problems still unresolved are: differentiation of territories of large area and heterogeneous in nature of environment of cultural heritage landscape; precise and comprehensive definition of the subject of monument protection in general and differentiation at separate heterogeneous sites of the environment; zoning of territories of large area and heterogeneous in nature of environment of cultural heritage landscape with the definition of land use regimes that ensure safe preservation of the subject of monument protection of this type of property. Primary areas for further research concerning the protection of Ukrainian landscape monuments are proposed in this study: identification, certification and state registration of more than 15 famous landscape sites of cultural heritage throughout the country. Practical recommendations on detection, research, state registration, preservation and protection of landscape sites of cultural heritage are developed based on the study. This will enable to improve the monument protection laws, regulate the system of methods and measures for the identification, preservation and protection of landscape sites of cultural heritage.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Дисертація є першим комплексним науковим дослідженням, у якому розглянуто історичний ландшафт Київських гір і долини р. Дніпра з огляду на пам’яткоохоронний аспект, виявлено його особливості та закономірності розвитку в історичному контексті, показано роль містобудівних комплексів та архітектурних ансамблів у формуванні його розпланувальної, об’ємно-просторової структури та образних характеристик. В дисертації показано еволюцію комплексного підходу до охорони культурної спадщини, проаналізовано український та зарубіжний досвід щодо охорони та збереження культурних ландшафтів. Розроблено основні засади охорони та використання пам’ятки «Історичний ландшафт Київських гір і долини р. Дніпра» та запропоновано основні напрямки подальших досліджень щодо охорони ландшафтних пам’яток України. На основі проведених досліджень розроблено практичні рекомендації щодо удосконалення виявлення, дослідження, взяття на державний облік, збереження та охорони ландшафтних об’єктів культурної спадщини.	uk_UA
