dc.description	The purpose of the article. To explore the cultural practices of public libraries in the South of Ukraine, their influence on the development of the culture of the region. Methodology. In the course of research, scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, webometric analysis of library sites were applied. The scientific novelty of the work is to analyze the innovative socio-cultural activities of the public libraries of the South of Ukraine and its impact on the development of the region's culture. The scientific novelty of the work is to analyze the innovative sociocultural activity of the public libraries of the South of Ukraine and its influence on the development of the culture of the region. Conclusions. As a result of the research, the impact of library innovations on the cultural development of the South of Ukraine, the peculiarity of using the virtual environment for socio-cultural projects of libraries, was substantiated. The tendencies of innovative development of public libraries of the South of Ukraine are investigated. It is proved that cultural practices of public libraries, which promote the availability of information for various segments of the population, self-education, increase of interest in the history and culture of the region, can be considered as the modern level of civilization advancement. Transformation of library practices in the South of Ukraine takes place under the influence and in the context of the development of the region's culture. The integration of library, archival and museum activities contributes to the formation of a new cultural effect of the region.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Мета роботи. Дослідити культурні практики публічних бібліотек Півдня України, їх вплив на ефективність розвитку культури регіону. Методологія дослідження. У процесі дослідження застосовано наукові методи аналізу, синтезу, узагальнення, вебометричний аналіз сайтів бібліотек. Наукова новизна роботи полягає в аналізі інноваційної соціокультурної діяльності публічних бібліотек Півдня України та її впливу на розвиток культури регіону. Висновки. В результаті дослідження було обґрунтовано вплив бібліотечних інновацій на культурний розвиток Півдня України, особливість використання віртуального середовища для соціокультурних проектів бібліотек. Досліджено тенденції інноваційного розвитку публічних бібліотек Півдня України. Доведено, що культурні практики публічних бібліотек, що сприяють доступності інформації для різних верств населення, самоосвіті, підвищенні інтересу до історії і культури краю, можна розглядати як сучасний рівень цивілізаційного поступу. Трансформації бібліотечних практик Півдня України відбуваються під впливом та у контексті розвитку культури регіону. Формуванню нового культурного ефекту регіону сприяє інтеграція бібліотечної, архівної та музейної діяльності.	uk_UA
