Короткий опис(реферат):
Незважаючи на наявні умови для відповідного формування професійних компетентностей у ЗВО І-ІІ рівнів акредитації, його недостатньо, як для підготовки висококласних фахівців у цій сфері, так і для розвитку бібліотек, архівів тощо, і тому виникає потреба у додатковій роботі в цьому напрямку.
Мета статті – розглянути проблеми пов’язані з формуванням професійних компетентностей фахівців інформаційної, бібліотечної та архівної справи на сучасному етапі у ЗВО І-ІІ рівнів акредитації. Методологія дослідження базується на загальнонаукових методах аналізу і синтезу, порівняння та узагальнення. Під час викладу основного змісту статті також застосовувалися описовий і системно-структурний методи та документознавчий підхід, який дозволив виявити необхідний рівень проблематизації даного питання.

Thus, the analysis of certain aspects of formation of professional competencies of specialists in information, library and archives studies at the present stage, gives reason to argue that, despite the existing provision for the educational process in higher educational establishments, it is clearly not sufficient, both for training high-class specialists in this field, and for the development of these industries in general. It is precisely the problems that stand in the way of the formation of highly qualified
specialists that lead to the understanding that the future of information, library and archival studies in our country is possible only if the educational space is transformed, because the existing form in many higher educational establishments in Ukraine make it complicated to talk about a system platform for educating specialists in information, library and archives studies, the level of training of which would correspond to
innovative trends and needs of the market.
The purpose of the article is to consider the current problems related to the formation of professional competencies of specialists in information, library, and archives studies. Methodology. The work with the selected material was based on common scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, and generalization. Descriptive and system-structural methods, as well as a document-based approach, were also
used to outline the main content of the article, which enabled to reveal the necessary level of problematization of this topic of research.
