Abstract:
У дисертації за розробленою автором методикою комплексно досліджено сукупність водяних знаків на папері спільних та окремих видань східнослов’янських першодрукарів І. Федорова та П. Мстиславця, встановлено співвідношення філіграней у межах усього видання та окремих його примірників, простежено динаміку зміни водяних знаків, на основі якої виявлено послідовність друкування окремих частин видання, узагальнено відомості про походження виявлених водяних знаків.
Шляхом філігранологічного аналізу встановлено невідомі раніше факти стосовно послідовності друку частин московського Апостола 1564 р., львівського Апостола 1574 р., вільнюського Євангелія 1575 р. та острозької Біблії 1581 р. Введено у науковий обіг декілька філіграней, не зафіксованих попередниками, встановлено випадки використання великих масивів порівняно якісного паперу без сюжетних водяних знаків у складі Євангелія 1575 р., виявлено невідомі варіанти друку окремих аркушів, введено у науковий обіг відомості про друкування самостійних гравюр П. Мстиславця, що можуть гіпотетично вважатися первістками української естампної гравюри.

In the submitted paper a complex investigation of the watermarks on the editions of East-Slavonic printers I. Fedorov and P. Mstislavets is proposed, that being carried out according to the original technique developed by the author. The books under investigation are the Moscow Apostle of 1564, the Zabludiv Gospel didactic of 1569, the Lviv Apostle of 1574, the Vilnius Gospel of 1575 and the Ostroh Bible of 1581.
The author has examined publications from 14 collections preserved in Kyiv, Lviv, Moscow, Ostroh and Kharkiv. The correlation of filigrees on the edition and separate impressions has been ascertained, the dynamics of change of watermarks has been detected, the order of printing of different parts of an edition has been found out, and the data on provenance of the watermarks have been generalized.
By means of filigranological analysis the author has found out some new facts of the history of printing of the editions in question. Several filigrees not detected formerly by scholars have been introduced into the sphere of scientific investigation, instances of use of non-watermarked paper stocks for the Gospel of 1575 have been revealed, unknown variants of printing of separate sheets have been detected. The author gives new information on the printing of the loose engravings of P. Mstislavets that are supposedly the first Ukrainian plate engravings.
