Abstract:
У зарубіжній практиці поєднання готельно-ресторанного сервісу з бібліотеками створює нові напрями діяльності; можливість вдосконалювати існуючі моделі. Такі нові підходи забезпечують комфортні умови для науковців, любителів читати, поціновувачів першоджерел і унікальної інформації та працівників сфери гостинності. Зарубіжний досвід чітко дає зрозуміти, що за потреби бібліотекар
може освоїти вузьку спеціалізацію і стати незамінним працівником для сфери готельно-ресторанних послуг, як у випадку з бібліотекарем сиру і бібліотекарем вина. Крім того збільшується рівень поінформованості фахівців за умови користування послугами бібліотеки, і рівень професійних знань.
Мета роботи. Виявити та охарактеризувати діяльність бібліотек по інформаційно-комунікаційному забезпеченню готельно-ресторанної сфери у зарубіжних країнах. Методологія дослідження полягає у використанні методів прямого та зворотного аналізів зарубіжної практики щодо даної проблематики.

In foreign practice, the combination of hotel and restaurant service with libraries creates new directions of activity; the ability to improve existing models. Such new approaches
provide a comfortable environment for scholars, readers, lovers of the primary sources and unique information and hospitality workers. Foreign experience clearly makes it clear that, if necessary, the librarian may acquire a narrow specialization and become an indispensable worker in the field of hotel and restaurant services, as in the case of the cheese librarian and the wine librarian. In addition, the level of knowledge of specialists
increases with the use of library services, and the level of professional knowledge.
The purpose of the article is to identify and characterize the activity of libraries for information and communication provision of hotel and restaurant sphere in foreign countries. The methodology of the study is to use the methods of direct and reverse analysis of foreign practice in this regard.
