dc.description	This paper is a historiographical overview of the studies on the image of the four interrelated gods. These gods, Hapi, Duamutef, Kebehsenuf and Amseti, were called «The Children of Horus» in ancient religious texts. Among the majority of Egyptologists they are thought to be protectors of the organs of the deceased. Nevertheless some researchers point out that this function of these gods was not the only and probably not the main. The reason of this problem is connected with the scarce condition of scrutiny of the role of these gods in Ancient Egyptian mythology. The analysis of all known studies on the Children of Horus is being carried out in this research. This historiographical overview can help to detect those gaps, which exist in the current theme.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Стаття являє собою історіографічний огляд вивчення образу чотирьох, пов’язаних між собою богів. Цю четвірку богів – Хапі, Дуамутефа, Кебехсенуфа та Амсеті – узагальнено називають дітьми Хора, слідом за давньоєгипетськими релігійними текстами. Серед більшості єгиптологів головною функцією богів вважається охорона органів померлого, хоча деякі дослідники вказують на те, що ця функція була далеко не єдиною і, очевидно, не була головною. Така проблема пов’язана із недостатнім станом вивченості ролі цих богів у давньоєгипетській міфології. У цьому дослідженні проводиться аналіз усіх відомих праць, присвячених дітям Хора, що допоможе виявити існуючі лакуни.	uk_UA
