dc.description	The proposed dissertation is the first study in the Ukrainian musicology of the phenomenon of the Universal Creative Personality in Ukrainian musical culture. The author considered this phenomenon in the individual-creative, comparativetypological and functional-dynamic aspects. The focus and methodology of the research give an opportunity to understand the specifics of the universal creative individual. This allows scientists to understand the phenomenon of creative individuality. The proposed new ways make it possible to comprehend the format of the Ukrainian musical culture and the meanings of the world musical-historical process deeper and more accurately. In the O. Komenda’s dissertation, the typology of universal creative personality is analyzed on the material of musical culture of the European tradition. The author defined the essence of the phenomenon of activity universalism and traced its evolution. She revealed his peculiarities in structural, typological, functional and individualcreative aspects. O. Komenda analyzed the state of knowledge of the universal creative personality in musicology, cultural studies and personal psychology, studied and summarized a number of existing scientific approaches. She determined the activity-structural research method of the universal creative personality as a typological phenomenon in the personalistic musicology. The evolution of the activity universalism phenomenon is considered in the musical-historical process of different musical cultures of European tradition and the structures of activity universalism of the brightest representatives of the Ukrainian music culture from the beginning of the 19th to the beginning of the 21st century are described . The typology of activity universalism was built on the material of the European musical culture of the 19th and 20th centuries. In the dissertation, the functional specificity of typological manifestations of the activity universalism is demonstrated on the material of the Ukrainian musical culture of the second half of the 19th and early 21st centuries. The system-integrative essence of activity universalism as an individual-creative phenomenon was revealed by the author on example of the creative personality of Oleksandr Kozarenko as one of the most indicative universal personalities of the contemporary Ukrainian musical culture. The cumulative type of activity universalism is shown to be associated with the type of musician-master, and the system-integrative type of activity universalism is associated with the type of musician-creator. The essence of the of the universal creative personality of the New Time phenomenon is clarified through the a complex of types of universal musicians of the New Time developed by O. Komenda. She also substantiated the activity-structural method of research of typological manifestations of universal creative personality. Within the task framework of this research O. Komenda traced the main tendencies of activity universalism of different musical cultures of the European tradition. She revealed a turning function of the opera in the formation of the universalism of the New Time and determined the role of Je. F. Rameau as a prototype of the classic universal creative personality. In the dissertation, O. Komenda has built the structures of activity universalism about fifty most representative universal personalities of the European musical culture of the 19th and 20th centuries. Accordingly to this, she observed different degrees of representatives of different types of creative universal personality in different historical periods and national communities. The researcher noted the uniqueness of the structure of activity universalism of O. Messiaen. The functional correspondence with the task of constructing a Ukrainian musical culture of the type of the universal-public figure and the functional discordance with it of the type of the universal-musicologist is shown, and the role of a classical uni- versalism in the Ukrainian musical culture of the Soviet period as a way to resist the destruction of the national tradition is defined. O. Komenda substantiated the function of the universal-composer type as the personification of the breakthrough moment of the goal formation of the Ukrainian musical culture. She determined the role of the universal personality of S. Ludkevych as a reflection of the common tendencies of the development of the Ukrainian musical culture. O. Komenda confirmed the high cultural potential of the universal personality in the processes of formation and development of the national musical culture. She comprehended the significance of the type of universal-public figure as a characteristic phenomenon of Ukrainian musical culture. In the dissertation musicologist defined the classical universalism of O. Kozarenko as a continuation of the line of M. Lysenko – S. Lyudkevych – M. Skoryk. For this purpose the author described the levels of activity synthesis in the structure of activity universalism of O. Kozarenko and modeled the nature of the system-integrative connections with the tendencies of his activity universalism in a dynamic projection.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Запропонована дисертація присвячена феномену універсальної творчої особистості, розглянутому в аспекті діяльнісного універсалізму. У ній обґрунтовано діяльнісно-структурний метод дослідження універсальної творчої особистості, простежено основні тенденції діяльнісного універсалізму особистості в ряді культур європейської традиції, доведено особливу значущість цього феномена для української музичної культури. Розкрито функціональну відповідність типу універсала-громадського діяча (М. Лисенко, К. Стеценко, Я. Степовий, С. Воробкевич, А. Вахнянин та інші) та функціональну невідповідність ти- пу універсала-музикознавця (Б. Яворський, М. Рославець, В. Витвицький) завданням побудови української музичної культури, визначено роль класичного універсалізму в українській музичній культурі радянського періоду (М. Вериківский, П. Козицький, В. Барвінський) як способу протистояти знищенню національної традиції, осмислено функцію типу універсал-композитор (В. Косенко, Б. Лятошинський, М. Скорик) як уособлення переламного моменту цілеутворення української музичної культури, охарактеризовано роль універсальної творчої особистості С. Людкевича як віддзеркалення загальноукраїнських тенденцій розвитку національної музичної культури, доведено високий культуротворчий потенціал універсальної творчої особистості в процесах формування та розвитку національної музичної культури та значущість типу універсалагромадського діяча як характерного явища української музичної культури, обумовлено вагоме значення музично-громадської діяльності для особистостей універсалів інших типів (М. Леонтович, О. Кошиць, Б. Яворський, М. Рославець, М. Вериківський, П. Козицький, С. Людкевич, М. Колесса, В. Барвінський, В. Витвицький та інші), визначено класичний тип діяльнісного універсалізму особистості О. Козаренка як продовження лінії діяльнісного універсалізму М. Лисенка – С. Людкевича – М. Скорика, спостережено індивідуально-творчі параметри універсальної творчої особистості О. Козаренка, її системно-інтегративні зв’язки, рівні діяльнісного синтезу та динаміку розвитку.	uk_UA
