dc.description	This thesis focuses on the research of the concert and educational activities of Ukrainian singers in China in the 20th – early 21st centuries in the context of international relations. For this purpose, historical, geopolitical, ideological and cultural preconditions for the development of Ukrainian-Chinese cultural relations and tendencies of their manifestations from the end of the 16th century are comprehensively discussed; the dynamics of these relations up to this day is shown. The analysis of the concert and educational activities of L. Lypkovska, M. Mashyr, L. Bespechna, B. Hmyria in China before the period of the "cultural revolution" is carried out. The first and brightest person, who was able to work convincingly for the cause of strengthening cultural ties between the Chinese and Ukrainian peoples in the early days of the People's Republic of China, was the singer of world importance and great Ukrainian patriot Borys Hmyrya. His touring concerts and the master classes he conducted resulted in laying a solid foundation for the development of further long-term cooperation between China and Ukraine in the field of culture. Aspects of concert and methodological and educational activities of E. Letyagina, I. Krasylina, O. Zharovska, S. Leontiyeva and H. Usova in China are studied and the results of their work are summarized. To do this, the author systematizes her own interviewing materials and the press on art issues of Beijing, Shanghai, Ningbo, Leshan of the early 21st century; on the basis of their generalization, the importance of Ukrainian academic singing teachers’ achievements in the development of vocal art of China is demonstrated: in search and thoughtful education of a large number of talented young voices, in expanding their knowledge of the world and Ukrainian vocal repertoire, in presenting various aspects of performing techniques, in significant gains at the most challenging world music contests, in promoting further education in Europe, in Ukraine in particular. The analysis of aspects of their activities in China shows that they all worked in China according to the accepted state (Chinese and Ukrainian) regulations, contracts and other documents as part of the expansion of mutual cultural cooperation, vast acquaintance of Chinese singers with professional vocal art of Ukrainian artists in particular. It is noted that, despite highly developed vocal school, the availability of excellent teachers and gains of Chinese singers in the world vocal art, the methodological and pedagogical activities of Ukrainian masters was conditioned by the insufficiency in multibillion China of its own professional staff, as well as the desire to study the experience of European cultures. The performing repertoire is analyzed, and the extent of popularity of Ukrainian vocal music works with Chinese singers is determined. The achievements of Ukrainian singers in vocal art of China are described and the value of their creative and teaching gains is substantiated. Common to all the teachers are ardent promotion of Ukrainian songs and works by Ukrainian composers in China, making their personal contributions to the development of international cooperation among artists, strengthening of friendly relations between the Chinese and Ukrainian peoples, and confirming high prestige of the Ukrainian school of academic singing art.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Дисертація присвячена дослідженню концертної та педагогічної діяльності українських співаків у Китаї ХХ – початку ХХІ століття в контексті розвитку міжнаціональних зв’язків. Для цього комплексно розглянуто історичні, геополітичні, ідеологічні та культурні передумови розвитку українсько-китайських культурних і творчих взаємин та напрями їх проявів від кінця XVI ст., показано динаміку розвитку цих взаємин до сьогодення. Здійснено аналіз концертної/педагогічної діяльності Л. Липковської, М. Машир, Л. Беспечної, Б. Гмирі у Китаї до періоду «культурної революції», висвітлено аспекти діяльності та підсумовано результати праці Е. Летягіної, О. Жаровської, С. Леонтьєвої, Г. Усової та І. Красиліної у продовженні взаємодії українських та китайських співаків періоду незалежної України. Проаналізовано виконавський репертуар та визначено ступінь поширення серед китайських співаків творів української вокальної музики. Висвітлено здобутки та обґрунтовано значення творчих та педагогічних досягнень українських співаків у зміцненні міжнаціональних творчих зв’язків України та Китаю, а також значення в розвитку вокального мистецтва Китаю.	uk_UA
