dc.description	The dissertation research is devoted to the identification of regional specifics of the saxophone functioning in the modern musical panorama of Ukraine. The prerequisites for the formation and main milestones in the development of saxophone art are defined. The article reveals the specifics of the artistic interaction of Ukrainian saxophone art with the performing and pedagogical traditions of world performing schools. The historical review made it possible to summarize the key milestones in the development of academic saxophone art. at the same time, the current stage of development of saxophone art synthesizes the achievements of various national schools and professional cells. The leading principles of Ukrainian saxophone art in their specific regional versions are substantiated. It is indicated that the concert-performing and educational component of the saxophone art was fully realized in the second half of the twentieth century, culminating in the period of Independence. The article highlights the role of leading Ukrainian saxophonists in the development of saxophone art through the prism of their performing, teaching, research activities, and assess the achievements of the younger generation. The main models of saxophone art that Ukrainian musicians are guided by are highlighted. we can distinguish several main ones: first, it is the influence of the Russian school, mainly its most famous representative, M. Shaposhnikova (the character of the instrument, the focus on the finger technique, the phrasing magnitude, deep emotions); secondly, the reference to the European tradition, primarily French and a few less German school (sharpened attention to all aspects of production for the performing apparatus, the freedom of sound in all registers, the use of new performing techniques, sense of style, accuracy in the reading of the strokes); third, the national character (bright sound-visualization, large scale dynamic gradations that are programmed in the composers' creativity, flexibility performing manner for adaptation to different layers of compositional imagination and the genres of folk, jazz, neo-classical, etc.) Special attention is paid to the activities of passionate individuals in the saxophone art. Based on the analysis of the activities of outstanding personalities, the trends of the concert and festival movement in the regions aimed at popularizing the saxophone in Ukraine are summarized. It is pointed out that various concert and performance events and competitions are held in the capital and major cities, which serve as proof of the growing popularity of the instrument. The review of the saxophone repertoire, which is diverse in genres and style trends, created by composers in different regions. A comprehensive analysis of all the main components of the saxophone art, which is considered on the example of regional centers with their special traditions, indicates the intensity of development and significant future prospects of this instrument in the national culture.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Дисертаційне дослідження присвячене виявленню реґіональної специфіки функціонування саксофона в сучасній музичній панорамі України. Окреслено передумови формування та основні віхи розвитку саксофонного мистецтва. Розкрито специфіку мистецької взаємодії українського саксо- фонного мистецтва з виконавськими та педагогічними традиціями світових виконавських шкіл. Обґрунтовано провідні засади українського саксофонного мистецтва в їх специфічних реґіональних версіях. Висвітлено роль провідних українських саксофоністів у розвитку саксофонного мистецтва крізь призму їх виконавської, педагогічної, науково-дослідницької діяльності. Особлива увага приділяється діяльності пасіонарних особистостей у саксофонному мистецтві та їх участі у проведенні різноманітних концертно-виконавських та конкурсних акцій у столиці та менших містах, що служать доказом зростаючої популярності інструменту. Здійснено огляд розмаїтого за жанрами і стильовими тенденціями саксофонного репертуару, створеного українськими композиторами. Проведений системний аналіз всіх головних складових саксофонного мистецтва, яке розглядається на прикладі реґіональних центрів з їх особливими традиціями, свідчить про інтенсивність розвитку і значні подальші перспективи цього інструменту в національній культурі.	uk_UA
