dc.description	The thesis is the first comprehensive scientific research that discovers transformation of activity forms and directions of Kyiv state and public organizations in the sphere of protection, study, and use of the archeological heritage in Ukraine. Relevance of the selected subject is caused by increase of interest in issues of protection and efficient use of historical and cultural assets. Preservation of the archeological heritage of Ukrainian people is one of priority tasks of domestic state policy. Modern optimization needs both of the state policy in the sphere of monument protection, and reformation of practical work in this sphere of social life made relevant a need in search of scientifically substantiated approaches to protection of the archeological heritage on the bases of engagement of the national experience. In Ukraine (1835-1934) monument protection was an advancing and uneven process that occurred due to development, improvement, and substitution of one monument protection institutions by others. Development dynamics of Kyiv organizations is covered in a historic context. It has been analyzed a structure of Kyiv state and public institutions and basic principles of their interaction in the sphere of protection and preservation of archeology monuments. A complicated formation process of laws and regulations in the sphere of cultural heritage protection is included in the thesis. It is established that scientific achievements of leading centers in the sphere of monument protection are becoming indicators of a general trend in the scientific research, reflecting the formed scientific thinking at the first historic stage. On the basis of analysis of a wide range of archival and published sources it has been firstly singled out and characterized main development periods of archeological monument protection in Kyiv from the 30ies of the ХІХ to the 30ies of the ХХ century: three periods of the pre-Soviet times that describe work of six separate organizations and two higher educational institutions of historical and archeological types (1834-1917); one period of Soviet Ukraine times that represents formation of archeological heritage protection system in Kyiv and describes work of five monument protection organizations and one higher educational institution (1917-1934).	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Дисертація є першим комплексним науковим дослідженням, що розкриває трансформацію форм та напрямів діяльності київських державних та громадських установ з охорони, вивчення і використання археологічної спадщини в Україні. Пам’яткоохоронну справу розглянуто як поступальний та нерівномірний процес, що зароджується із появою одиничних осередків дослідження пам’яток і розвивається у складну систему. На основі аналізу широкого кола архівних та опублікованих джерел вперше виділено та охарактеризовано основні етапи розвитку охорони археологічних пам’яток в Києві у період з 1835 до 1934 рр. Проаналізовано структуру київських державних і громадських установ та основні закономірності їх взаємодії у сфері охорони та збереження пам’яток археології. Висвітлено складний процес оформлення нормативно-правової бази охорони пам’яток культури. Динаміка розвитку київських установ висвітлена в історичному контексті. У дисертації узагальнено основні здобутки київських державних і громадських організацій у виявленні та збереженні археологічних пам’яток, з’ясовано, які з них використовуються у сучасній пам’яткоохоронній роботі. На основі отриманих результатів вироблено ряд практичних рекомендацій щодо удосконалення вивчення, збереження та охорони археологічної спадщини.	uk_UA
