dc.description	The dissertation presents complex research of main tendencies of changes in publishing activity of scientific libraries since 90s of the 20th up to the 10s of the 21st centuries, i.e. the first period of Ukraine sovereignty, removal of ideological restrictions and accelerating of society informatization. The library research and publishing activities constitute the complex object of study, which includes formation, development and functioning of research and publishing library production as a system aims at realization of science, research, information, analytic activities of the library. Fundamental changes in libraries activity and internal structure, primarily in the leading scientific library - V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine (VNLU) - are stated, development of new scientific trends and functions in renewed country in interconnectedness with development of scientific and publishing activities, is characterized. VNLU creates and develops new structure with research institutes (research of manuscripts, library studies, book studies, archive studies, biography studies, information technologies), centers (scientific and publishing, culture and education, conservation and restoration), Service of Information and Analytical Support of State Authorities, National Law Library, Presidential Foundation of Ukraine. Directions, forms, types and kinds of the library publishing production are characterized in complex. Scientific editions which are results of library studies, book studies, library studies, bibliography studies, biography studies, social communications, informology, bibliometrics, are determined. Considerable attention is paid to culture heritage which libraries keep, and issues of libraries activity in information society. Kinds of scientific editions and information and analytical production are specified. The characteristic feature is establishing of fundamental series of editions and complex scientific editions which unite in itself various kinds of texts, in particular, monographic study, bibliographic index, publication of sources, background information etc. New kind of history andbibliography study, guidebooks of new generation which are replenished with new information andgain essential quality development, are emerged. Development of scientific and publishing work determined noted innovative component in traditional kinds and includes new kinds of scientific production. The classification presupposes:monographs and complex editions, which consists of monographic, publication and reference parts;journals and professional collections of papers, papers of international conferences, refereed journals, which are aimed on inclusion to bibliometrics and refereed international databases; publications of manuscript and book heritage, documental sources, catalogs of manuscripts, incunables, rare and precious books, publication of famous persons’ archives;system of guidebooks: bibliography of scientists, scholars, leaders of education and culture, catalogs of collections, scientific descriptions and reviews; thematic guidebooks (indexes, collections guidebooks, dictionaries, refereed reviews of documents and resources etc..);system of information and analytical editions, which forms as systemic electronic resource and disseminates remotely, and provides social, political and economic information to state authorities and users;special group is scientific and methodic editions in the areas of librarianship and archive sphere, within the network of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine libraries and archives;electronic resources and databases, texts of VNLU website, and publication of digital resources which have no paper version yet. The question on recognition of these resources as results of scientific and publishing work and form of publishing communication arises. Formation of network scientific space determined emerging of new means of publishing and editorial work with the assistance of digital technologies in terms of new international standards and demands of electronic society, with due regard for new demands in specifics of scientific production, taking into account new conditionsand forms of scientific editions preparing and work of editorial office with electronic resources and databases of various kinds which have strong intellectual component and which library produces.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	У дисертації комплексно досліджено основні тенденції змін у видавничій діяльності наукових бібліотек, з урахуванням досвіду Національної бібліотеки України імені В. І. Вернадського, у період 90-х років ХХ - 10-х років ХХІ ст. - період незалежності України, звільнення від ідеологічних обмежень та прискореного розвитку інформатизації суспільства. Встановлено фундаментальні зміни в діяльності та внутрішній структурі бібліотек,охарактеризовано розвиток нових наукових напрямів та функцій в оновленому суспільстві у взаємозв’язку з розвитком науково-видавничої діяльності.Комплексно схарактеризовано напрями, форми, типи та види видавничої продукції. Визначено наукові видання, що є результатом розвитку книгознавства, бібліотекознавства, бібліографознавства, документознавства, архівознавства, біографістики, соціальних комунікацій, інформології та бібліометрії.Уточнено види наукових видань та інформаційно-аналітичної продукції специфіку редакційно-видавничої діяльності в умовах розвитку наукових мережевих ресурсів.	uk_UA
