dc.description	Іn the thesis the circle of issues connected with realization of library digital projects of digitization of historical-cultural and scientific achievements, organization of library digital technological complexes are considered. The topic of the dissertation in this formulation of the question has not been the subject of a special study yet. It has been determined that the implementation of significant digital historical and cultural projects requires the solution and coordination of a number of technological issues: the organization of the description of digital objects according to common standards, the observance of copyright, the training of library staff for the skills of digital documents (digital curation), the creation of conditions for reliable storage large amounts of digital information (digital preservation), the introduction of a knowledge management system toensure perfect access to digitized documents, the integration of their own digital resources for corporate digital library projects. The most promising strategy for the formation of digital resources on the collection principle based on the types of documents and individual topics within the framework of a defined comprehensive cultural and educational program is substantiated. This approach allows to integrate in a whole complex different digital objects (digital copies of library and archive documents, material monuments, audio and video materials). Definition of digital collections, basic principles of their construction and life cycle management, based on the introduction of digital curation into the library activity, including: planning, selection, description, management, preservation, access and use areclarified. It is substantiated and experimentally confirmed that the solution of the whole spectrum of the problems can be ensured by optimal organization of the technological infrastructure of the digital complex of the scientific library on the basis of interconnected modules (subsystems): creation of digital copies; administering and storing; description and accounting; processing and management; search and publication. The modular principle of the organization of work creates the conditions for a detailed study of the features of each technological level, a more rational organization and distribution of professional responsibilities of the library's specialists.The necessary condition for organizing digital collections management system is its integration with the software system of the documentary institution. Formation and accounting of the digital collections on the basis of library information system has indisputable advantages and is the optimal solution in view of: client-server architecture, which allows to organize network interaction of users of many different divisions; records for many library documents in the electronic catalog and specialized databases; support for the storage of digital objects in binary form and hypertext references to electronic documents; easy integration of the created electronic fund with other information services of the library; multidimensional access to library information. Modular digital complex was formed and tested in the framework of the digital project of The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. The implementation of such an integrated approach ensured effective management of the digital fund, made it possible to organize publicly available online historical and cultural resources: electronic collections and exhibitions, provided conditions for convenient multi-dimensional use of digitized materials by a professional audience of remote users of the library.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	У дисертаційному дослідженні розглянуто коло питань, пов’язаних з реалізацією бібліотечних цифрових проектів оцифрування історико-культурного та наукового надбання, організацією бібліотечних цифрових технологічних комплексів. Обґрунтовано оптимальну організацію технологічної інфраструктури цифрового комплексу наукової бібліотеки на основі взаємопов’язаних модулів (підсистем): створення цифрових копій; адміністрування та зберігання опису й обліку; обробки й управління; пошуку та публікації. Уточнено визначення цифрових колекцій, основні принципи їх побудови й управління життєвим циклом на основі впровадження у бібліотечну діяльність системи цифрового кураторства (digitalcuration). Модульний цифровий комплекс сформовано й апробовано в рамках цифрового проекту Національної бібліотеки України імені В. І. Вернадського. Впровадження такого комплексного підходу забезпечило ефективне управління цифровими ресурсами, надало змогу організувати суспільно важливі онлайнові історико-культурні ресурси.	uk_UA
