Мета дослідження – здійснити всебічний аналіз наукових підходів і технологій під час проведення циклу реставраційних робіт на монументальному живописі Троїцької надбрамної церкви в період 1979 – 1991 рр. Методологія. Специфічні особливості зазначеної тематики вимагають застосування нового спектру методів дослідження, що базуються на комплексному системно-діяльнісному підході та аналізі сучасних техніко-технологічних методів дослідження стінопису церкви. Наукова новизна. Конкретизація попередніх досягнень та втрат в реставраційній галузі, акцентуючи увагу на розгляді випробуваних методик реставрації та наслідках їх використання на пам‘ятці, введення до наукового обігу відомостей щодо складу матеріалів стінопису та його специфіки. Висновки. Реставраційний процес збагатив історію пам‘ятки цінними свідченнями щодо колишніх реставраційних втручань, заповнивши прогалини в існуючих архівних джерелах. В процесі реставрації було виявлено наявність більш раннього живопису XVII та XVIII ст

The purpose of the article is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of scientific approaches and technologies during the cycle of restoration works on the murals of the Trinity Gate Church in the period from 1979 to 1991. Methodology. Specific features of this topic require the use of a new range of research methods based on a comprehensive system-activity approach and analysis of modern technical and technological methods of researching the murals of the church. Scientific novelty. Concretization of previous achievements and losses in the restoration sphere, focusing on the consideration of the tried and tested restoration techniques and the effects of their use on the monument, introduction into scientific circulation of information about the composition of murals materials, and its specifics. Conclusions. The restoration process has enriched the history of the monument with valuable evidence of past restoration interventions, filling in the gaps in existing archival sources.
