Стрімкий розвиток інтернет-технологій зумовив появу нових форм
комунікації, що стали уособленням інформаційного суспільства, чинником
світової глобалізації. Одним із них є блоги як специфічний комунікативний і
соціокультурний простір. Блоги постають як індивідуальні надбання їх творців,
так і суспільні, що вплітаються в систему глобальної комунікації та зсередини
впливають на культурну картину світу. Своїм контентом блоги створюють
культурний контекст для розвитку суспільства. Динамічно розвиваючись, вони
охоплюють усе більшу частину аудиторії та спрямовують фокус її уваги на
певні аспекти життєдіяльності. Як феномен сучасності, вони зумовлені
трансформаційними процесами в суспільстві, як технологічними, так і
соціально-культурними, водночас самі здійснюють вплив на них творчістю
віртуальної спільноти блогерів.

The rapid development of Internet technologies has led to the emergence of
new forms of communication, which serve as the embodiment of the information
society and a factor in globalizing the world. One such form is blogs, representing a
specific communicative and sociocultural space. Blogs exist as individual assets of
their creators, as well as social entities woven into the fabric of global
communication, influencing the cultural landscape from within. Through their
content, blogs create a cultural context for societal development. Continuously
evolving, they progressively engage a larger audience and direct attention towards
specific aspects of life. As a modern phenomenon, they are shaped by
transformational processes in society – both technological and sociocultural – while
simultaneously exerting influence on these processes through the creative endeavors
of the virtual blogger community.
