Abstract:
Дисертація присвячена дослідженню сценічної історії трагедії "Гамлет" В. Шекспіра на сценах львівських професіональних театрів. Розгляд діяльності австрійського, польського, українського театрів в хронологічній послідовності їхньої появи та започаткування національних традицій сценічної гамлетіани здійснено як у контексті історій окремих національних сцен, так і з огляду на процеси їхніх взаємовпливів. Виявлено особливості сценічних постав “Гамлета” в кожній із національних театральних культур міста, особливу увагу приділено значенню “Гамлета” у процесах формування та утвердження національної та водночас європейськоорієнтованої свідомості його мешканців. Проаналізовано чотири сценічні прочитання “Гамлета” (1943, 1957, 1981, 1997) на українських сценах Львова. У дисертації також окрему увагу приділено взаємозв’язкам перекладацької практики та розвитку національного українського професійного театру.

Analysis of stage history staging of Shakespeare’s tragedy “Hamlet” was firstly shown in thesis, in Ukrainian study of theatre in professional theatres of the city of Lviv: Austrian, Polish, Ukrainian. Making a review of performances in a chronological consistency of their appearances, the author watches development of stage Hamletiana in a context of formation and strengthening separate national scenes and taking into consideration the processes of their interplays. The special mission of Lviv as a city, because of its theatrical practice, dramaturgy was spreading from Europe on the ground of Ukraine and the first audience acquaintance with the works of famous dramatist was taken place at the turn of XVIII-XIX centuries is emphasized. Special attention is paid to the meaning of staging “Hamlet” in formation of European-oriented artists’ and audience’ consciousness of the city in XIX-XX centuries. The interconnections of literary-translation training and development of national Ukrainian professional theatre are stressed in the thesis. Fully, four stagings of “Hamlet” by V. Shakespeare are analyzed in Ukrainian theatres of the city by using semiotic structured methods (1943, 1957, 1981, 1997).
