dc.description	Thesis is dedicated to study of a role of Slavic mythological motives in creation of a modern style. The condition of theoretical judgment of a problematics of mythologism such as art thinking of a modernist style is examined. Typological lines of works of the fine arts of the end 19th – the early of 20th centuries (V. Vasnetsov, M. Vrubel, N. Roerich, P. Holodnyj, Y. Mykhailiv, I. Bilibin, G. Narbut, H. Kulchitskaja, M. Zhuk, M. Kazas) are created and submitted in the illustrative appendix. Mythological artistic images are considered in interrelation with world art of a modern style: the lowest mythology (forestman, merman, mermaid), World tree, a stone, a bird and the supreme mythologies (idols). Features of a magic fairy tale mytholgem in painting and graphics of a modern style are investigated. In the art analysis of pictures we use structure of travel of the fantastic hero: an outcome - initiation - returning. This logic structure allows to open in a new fashion the maintenance and the form of known works of the fine arts interconnected to it. The beginning of mythological travel of the hero in V. Vasnetsov, N. Roerich and I. Bilibin's products are examined. Interpretation of an ancient image of the hero - snake slayer is given. Search of graphic conformity to language magic fairy tales (hero-winner) is investigated. Artistic realization of a national ideal of female beauty is shown. The special type named "a mythological portrait" where the person joins a category eternal is revealed. It is revealed, that mythological, fantastic, epic motives gave a substantial basis, “subject motivation” for formation of symbolical language of a modern style. With their help frames of historical time were overcame in attempts to show multidimensionality of space. Value of art practice of masters of a modern style in theatrical - decorative and monumental art in creation of a picture - panel and transformation of graphic language mounted products (of Sadko’s image) is revealed. The artist self-identification of the artist with epic heroes (a bogatyr, the Boyan) is revealed. Motives of snake slayer and bogatyrs combat are considered. The role of a theme bogatyrs in formation of new type monumental and decoration building a picture-panel is investigated.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Дисертацію присвячено вивченню ролі східнослов'янських міфологічних мотивів у стилеутворенні модерну. Розглянуто стан теоретичного осмислення проблематики міфологізму як типу художнього мислення модерну. Створено і представлено в ілюстративному додатку типологічні ряди творів образотворчого мистецтва кінця XIX - початку ХХ ст. (В. Васнецов, М. Врубель, М. Реріх, П. Холодний, Ю. Михайлів, І. Білібін, Г. Нарбут, О. Кульчицька, М. Жук). Досліджено особливості міфологеми чарівної казки в живописі й графіці модерну. По-новому розкрито зміст і взаємозалежну з ним форму відомих творів образотворчого мистецтва. Знайдено особливий тип “міфологічного портрета”, де особистість прилучається до категорії Вічного. Виявлено, що міфологічні, казкові, билинні мотиви дали змістову основу, “сюжетне мотивування” для формування символічної мови модерну. Розкрито значення художньої практики майстрів модерну в театрально-декораційному і монументальному мистецтві в створенні панно.	uk_UA
